I believe that if all goes at least reasonably well for Ohio State this Saturday, then he will win the Heisman... However, there was another Big 10 QB that won the Heisman. In 1944,Les Horvath won it while playing for Ohio State.

because of the fact he performs for Hawaii and not for Ohio State. As unhappy as this is, even nonetheless the Heisman touts itself because of the fact the "ultimate participant interior the rustic", that's incredibly the "ultimate participant enjoying in a significant convention against some magnificent opposition with incredibly some television coverage". decrease back in 2004 Stephon Lefors as a QB for college of Louisville had the optimum QB score and led the rustic in completions yet wasn't even seen for the Heisman because of the actuality that UofL grew to become into nevertheless in convention u . s .. i think of it is not hassle-free to evaluate somebody's stats if this is a participant from a mid-significant as against a participant from a significant convention (yet another rationalization why the Heisman should not be desperate till after bowl video games besides). who's to assert that Brennan could've had fifty 3 TD's against communities in conferences like the SEC and the huge Ten and vice versa. no one will ever be conscious of. yet i does no longer difficulty too lots, he's being seen because of the fact the front runner for next year on the grounds that he's returning.

If this was a vote on NFL prospects, this would definitely be Brady Quinn and Troy Smith (a 2nd-round prospect as of now) would not be consideration.

As of now, I would say that Smith will win it unless he either does horrible against Michigan and loses WITH Quinn doing great against USC. It's a two-pony race right now and I'd say that McFadden and Ray Rice are just hoping they get invited to New York to take part in the ceremony.

Smith is not the smartest QB in CFB at all, his football IQ is one of the reasons why he's not a top prospect with his lack of size and throwing INTO coverage. He was nearly exposed against Illinois, may I remind you.

If OSU loses, he may still be able to win it.
A lot will depend on his stats vs. Quinn's from the UM game.
Also, depending on how ND plays against Army and also USC, it could still be a tight race.
Quinn & Smith are close on some stats but each have their own high points as well.
Being a ND fan, I would like to see Quinn get it, but I will not be surprised if Smith ends up with it.

Don't think so. This year has an exceptionally short list of legitimate players though.

Brady Quinn & Troy Smith's numbers are neck in neck. It is definitely going to be interesting.

probably so, only because Brady Quinn is haveing a off year and Mike Hart came on late, but if Arkanasas keeps winning you have to consider Darren McFadden, and i'm not a razorback fan i'm a LSU fan so thats saying alot
