I got this email:

Hmmm. It is strange how these "cold and rational" atheists become emotional as soon as you challenge their blind beliefs. I guess I might have ruffled your feathers a little bit, didn't I little sweetheart? Do you want to go talk to mommy, honey? I'll go get her for you... AND THEN I'LL BLOW HER ******* BRAINS OUT WITH A .45, just to see you scream and cry with a look of absolute terror on your stupid little shitface. And then guess what? I would turn the pistol on you make you piss yourself. It's funny how people urinate on themselves with a loaded weapon is pointed at them. Then I would ask you a question, with the gun aimed at your head. "Have you ever seen a picture of someone's skull after they got shot in the head with a .45?" You probably would not be able to even muster out half an *** of a response, you little ****.

From a Krishna evangelical who has been patroling this website. I did nothing to provoke this. What do you think is wrong with him?

I know I am ocassionally intentionally weird, but this time I had a whole truckload of weird dumped on me and felt no need to embellish. His name is Jim Champion, and his avatar is iskconmission. He doesn't scare me much, and I was mostly looking for psychological theories as to what was wrong with him! I liked the power freak/traumatization theory.

Hmm... Sounds like he might be schizophrenic. Delusions, disorganized thoughts, and generally bizarre behavior are classic symptoms. If you hear from him again, don't respond to what he is saying to you (because it's nonsense anyway), instead I suggest recommending to him that he see a doctor immediately, or direct him to a community outreach program that specializes in mental illness, such as NAMI.

Here are *some* of the symptoms of schizophrenia according to webMD. There are several types, so I'm sure this is just scratching the surface:

* Hallucinations. These usually involve hearing voices, but they can involve all the senses—seeing, tasting, touching, hearing, or smelling something that is not there.
* Delusions. These are firmly held but false beliefs. Some common experiences include thinking you are the President of the United States, or that you are being persecuted or chased by the CIA or by demons.
* Disordered (confused) thinking and speech that does not make any sense. Examples include abruptly responding to questions, not being able to respond with enough information, or always giving a one-word reply to questions.
* Bizarre or disorganized behavior. Usually the behavior involves being overly excited, angry, or unresponsive to other people. It may also include bizarre body movements, such as rocking back and forth or grimacing repeatedly.
* Self-neglect, such as becoming isolated from other people, wearing dirty clothes, or neglecting living space until it becomes untidy or cluttered.
* Inappropriate emotions, such as smiling when speaking of sad topics or laughing for no reason.

Whoa!! Is he on Yahoo? If so, you should first of all report him immediately, as that is one of the most offensive, threatening e-mails I've ever read. Secondly, he seems like he either has some sort of mental instability or perhaps he is a religious fanatic, but I've known a lot of Hare Krishnas, and they're normally super-peaceful. Whatever you do, don't contact him directly.

I think he has been watching way too many movies and tv shows, and is imitating the wrong characters in his real life. Or, he has an anger management problem, or is a sociopath. He is really not being a good witness for his professed faith, is he? While I do not believe in the Krishna faith, I know that they do not believe in violence, or threatening words towards others.

Some people have the same intelligence as someone who just was fatally shot with a .45; apparently whoever sent you this e-mail is one of them.

This person should be institutionalized. So much misdirected anger, This person seems to have been traumatized at some point in their life to a point of insanity.

He needs to be reported to Yahoo, is what's wrong with him. Block his email address in your account, and you should fix your settings so that you can't be emailed.

That is anger and violence to the highest degree.
I would say he has some serious issues.
