I want a new ipod for christmas probably the video one,but i was wondering if there were any other newer ipods that are rumored to come out soon within the next 6 months or so.

well new things come out all the time... get a video ipod with 30/80gb and that´s it... i can´t think of anything else that might be important-music, videos, photos and massive memory... that´s all you need... or at least that´s what i think....

yeah Apple has launched dh Nano in 5 different colors & also dh Video ipod in 30/80 gb memories
Their next launch i think is gonna b pretty soon 2 compete with Microsoft Zune Hey but there is Life Beyond Ipods Y not look at other options like the Samsung K5 & Sansa Music player ????

It's kinda hard to gauge when apple releases their things. They're so tight lipped about it even their own employees that work at the apple store aren't sure until the day of. I'd say the next generation ipods (hopefully with bluetooth) would come out next summer. until then microsoft came out with a pretty cool mp3 player called the zune, but i haven't heard much reviews on it.

iPod suck, consider something else. For example, the Creative Zen Vision:M. It's way better.
