The one thing I hate the most is hypocracy. Most people I know in most aspects of their life will judge people and give advice to someone when they don't even take their own. My wife/boss and family is so much like this. Do as I say, not as I do. They want to point out your faults even though they have like faults! Wish they would clean out there closets first!

Can't stand liars myself. I think it's a big waste of everybody's time to tell a lie, even a little white one. Though people say they are sometimes necessary. For instance, I don't see why a person would lie and tell somebody they look nice in something, if they look absolutely ridiculous. Why would you not want to tell them the truth and let them hear it from a loved one, instead of letting them make a complete fool out of themselves and suffer embarrassment and humiliation from a total stranger. I thinking lying, though it may seem to help at the time, only makes situation that much worse and harder to deal with. Also it gives people a false sense of belief and hope to hang onto instead of a dose of reality. I know the "truth hurts" sometimes, but I'd take truth anyday over a lie. Also you have to do too much to keep a lie going once it's started, whereas if you are just str8 up and honest with people it would save you alot of hassle. You don't have to be nasty to people to be honest, and even if the "truth hurts", you can say it pleasant enough and still get your point across, without smiling in someone face while telling them a lie. All the best.

Yeah, understand what you mean. Most parents do say that. "Do what I tell you." Then we don't show them very good role models. I always am reminded that parenthood is hard anyway and we are learning just like the children are. When you get very mature ( like a whole lot older) and have your own children, you will understand. We all are hypocrites in our own way. Bad, bad.

I have been reminded of this by my own daughter and I do thank her for pointing out my faults to me, ( I just can't tell her about her faults).

Liked your question. Food for thought. Good for you.

It's easier 2 criticize some1 else's mistakes than Ur own. The worst thing that people do is LIE, it comes naturally for most.

Rudeness. Not following the golden rule: treating others as you would have yourself be treated.

It bugs me, too. It seems that those who know themselves best are most reluctant to criticize others.
