I don't think he'll last the rest of the season, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone sometime around Christmas.

I know he hasn't been given a great deal to work with in St. Louis, but that team looks lost with him at the helm. I would have expected him to improve at least a little on last year's poor performance, but it looks like they're headed for another 45-loss season this time around.

I don't know that there's anyone out there right now who could coach this group into the playoffs, but I think they need to try something else. There are vets like Hitchcock and Pat Quinn out there, or they could give the job to an unproven who might be able to motivate the team. Either way, they need to do something, or just settle in for a terrible season.

I think Mike Kitchen won't be fired anytime soon. The Blues are rebuilding and ownership is obviously aware of the situation. Beside there are millions of dollars arleady tied up with Tkachuk and Weight as well as Guerin, so it's not like they will be going out and 'buying' Ken Hitchcock, Pat Burns, Larry Robinson or Pat Quinn anytime soon.
