It sounds like you have a form of anxiety along with post-partum depression. You need to see a therapist who can help recommend treatments (both drugs and therapy) to help you deal with the anxiety.
Your boyfriend isn't helping with his comment about it being all in your head. This is a legitimate disorder and you need help. He needs to be more supportive.
If you have a support system in place, such as family and friends, get help with the baby.
I also have to wonder if your history has a clue to this: did your mom or dad get ill and was unable to care for you? Is there a history of mental illness in the family? Go see a therapist ASAP for both your sake and your child's.

Hi,
I am so sorry that you feel so isolated. It's sounds like you are doing everything you can to find out what's wrong.

When I had anxiety attacks, I was holding in feelings from an abusive relationship. I was in denial that it was happening. I am not saying that is what is going on with you.

Sometimes things in your enviornment that seem out of control gets internalized and comes out in other ways. Having a baby and being a mom has got to be tough especially with feeling the way you do.

There may be other antidepressants you can try that may work better for you. Have you considered going to a counselor? They may be able to help you track down why you feel the way you do. You are not alone. Take Care.

You are new mom thats a big deal, I know many woman have feelings of anxiety especially with a first child. But it will pass, the first thing to do is get a second opinion, your Dr. may be assuming its post pardom blues. When there could actually be something else they are over looking.
I am a mother of four and I felt sick and tired all the time, my Dr also said it was nothing, I got over it but I was sure I was gonna die some days.

You should try talking to your OB/GYN; it sounds like you could have post-partem depression. Even though its been 4 months, it could still be affecting you. In the meantime, try some quiet time for just yourself to help you relax, either meditation or yoga.

Tell your doctor you need something for anxiety. My doctor gave me something called fluoxitine I think.
