I make a pretty good decent living but I save all my soda cans and bottles so I can get the 5 cent deposit.

You do not have a problem. A couple of years ago they took a survey of the car driven by most millionaires...and it was a Toyota Corola. Dependable and a good value.
We get programmed to think that everyone that has money needs to flaut it, or they do nothing to save it. Truth be known, the richest people in the world have made many a decision to save money as they have to spend it or make it.

NO you are being more responsible that those who don't recycle! You are doing the right thing, reguardless of the money.

if you are really well off financially donate the money to a charity that you got from all your cans.. you will feel really good about doing it, and not look like an a$$ to anyone, and look super sweet and rich.
