If you are a human being be very careful buying dress shirts at WalMart....most of them are polyester or a polyester/cotton blend.
Polyester breaths about as well as a garbage bag. Imagine wearing a big plastic bag all day. Make sure whatever you find is 100% cotton....it may require a little ironing but will pay off in comfort 1000 times. It you're just building your business wardrobe buy basic colors...white, pale blue, pale yellow, in solid colors. You can dress them up with colorful ties.
Go ahead and look at WalMart or Target....but also try Penney's...they're pretty cheap....also try whatever better stores are near you...Lazarus, BonTon, Dillards...a lot of times you can find great buys in the back of their departments on the clearance racks.

the last guy was right- i like walmart Puritan brand dress shirts- sometimes they are on sale for $7 bucks and they look good and feel good.
