Cudicini Vs VanderSaar i Go with Van der Sar...he has an outstanding abilities in saving long passes and penalties

TerryVs Ferdinand Terry is better ..Ferdinand was the best defender the past few years..But now since Terry is the captain of England..has more opportunity to do..He is for sure better

ColeVs Evra..Joe cole is technically better than Evra..but since Joe cole is most of the time on the bench..i pick Evra

Ballack Vs Carrick..Well in the future..i think that carrick will be remembereed as a good player only Ballack will be remembered as legend..It is surprising why people dont talk much about Ballack after all what he had done for Germany in 2002 he was the main reason they reached the finals!!

Gary Neville Vs Boulharouz :well..to tell the truth i never heard of Boulharouz before..or may be i heard the name but i never saw him play to his potential..so i pick Gary Neville

Vidic Vs Carvalho...I pick Carvalho..because he is the best defender in Chelsea..

Lampard Vs Scholes:I love both players..and they are both one The main reasons their clubs are going into success

Essien Vs Ronaldo :Based on current performance..CristianO Ronaldo is better ..and one of my favourites in Manchester united ..he is more accurate on his shooting on goal..and more of a mature player i believe

Attack Rooney Vs Shevchenko ..shevchenko WAS a good player for the past few years..But now Rooney is better..He has explosive sprint and tremendous shoots...he is one of the main reasons Manchester united is so successful

Drogba Vs Saha i believe Saha is more of a mature player because Drogba seems to dive sometimes and i am not astonished by his styles and talents

Cuddicini-Vander Saar: Van Der Saar is clearly the better of the 2 and has fixed a leaky GK position that many have been unable to fill.
G. Neville-Bouharouz: This is a trick one because Bouharouz plays as a sort of centreback who helps cover when A. Cole goes forward. But he is not a true fullback, hence I have to say G. neville is the better fullback
Terry-Ferdinand: No doubt terry! He is much more confident at the back and a very good set piece expert.
Carvalho-Vidic: Vidic has come a long way, i pick him because he has a very good sense at the back and theres no getting the ball off of him. He plays smart football.
A. Cole-Evra: A. Cole and Evra are both similar, and Evra has made great strides. But Cole gets forward very well and supports the attack better.
Ballack-Carrick: Obviously Ballack earns more headlines being Germany's top player and a regular goalscorer. But ask Spurs fans about Carrick, they miss his work in the centre even though he does not get many goals. As a defensive player Carrick is good, but Ballack overall is the better of the 2.
Lampard-Scholes: Scholes was clearly the best when he was younger. This season he has done very well and has made a lot of good plays. lampard seems to be stunted with England and lately Chelsea however. He is having a sluggish start.
Essien-Ronaldo- Essien is the better defensive Midfielder, Ronaldo better attack simple as that!
Giggs-Robben: Robben has been in serious decline, and he dives way too much! Giggs scores and crosses much better
Rooney-Shevchenko: Rooney is the better EPL player. he is a real force, and on his day theres no stopping him. I blame the Chelsea system, playing Shevagol essentially as a winger, for part of his problems but he has been far from dominating.
Drogba-Saha: Drogba is a great player but is nasty and dives too much. Saha took over from the great Ruud van Nistlerooy and has scored a lot of goals as well as set a few up, I take Saha

Overall both teams have their strong and weak points. I think Chelsea is becoming like this summer's Brazil, so full of stars their balance and ability fades in order to play all the stars.

Van der sar- Cudicini's lack of first team action, but he may improve as season progresses
Terry- A leader, a warrior , a fighter, Ferdinand is just a good defender.
Cole- Argueably the best left-back.Good defender, wing runner, passer, and puts in decent crosses.
Boulharouz- A predatory defender, doesnt leave much to go by him.
Carvalho- more mature than Vidic
Carrick- Ballack not set his foot yet in the Premiership, also Carrick is playing well as play-maker and through passes to rooney, hols the ball well
Lampard- Scholes is past his best, Lampard is in his prime years, Lampard is a better paly-maker.
Ronaldo- though Essien n Ronaldo r two different types of players in different roles, Ronaldo has more vigour and hunger. But Essien too is a hard man.
Giggs- Robben gets lost with the ball in his legs,doesnt know what he's doin, Giggs has lost some pace but he's the older man who puts his experience to the best use.
Shevchenko- Roney is still young , at the moment Sheva is a more sublime finisher, Rooney still has many potentials to fulfill.
Drogba- Sheer mental strength, the will of a champion, a real fighter's attitude.

Goalkeepers I would say are equal
Terry over Ferdinand because he plays with more pride and passion
I like Evra and dislike Cole who has too much to say for himself and whose form has been patchy.
I would go for Neville as I believe he is the most consistent player.
Vidic and Carvalho - equal
Ballack over Carrick since Carrick has a habit of fading out of games for long periods
Scholes over Lampard as Scholes is the perfect midfield player.
You cannot compare Essien with Ronaldo as they are totally different types of players. I would want both in my team but if I had to choose it would be Ronaldo.
I would have Giggs over Robben as Giggs is not a diver and can also operate very well in a midfield role
Rooney over Shevchenko because he is younger and stronger
Drogba over Saha as Drogba is now becoming the ideal centre forward. He leads the line well and is scoring for fun lately.

Cudicini Vs Van der Sar - I would go with Van Der Sar. They are both very good in their own right, but i would pick Van Der Sar over Cudicini because i think he commands the box better than Cudicini. Also, Cudicini's lack of first team action counts against him.
Terry Vs Ferdinand - I believe that Ferdinand has better defensive technique than Terry, but I would pick Terry over Ferdinand because Terry shows great determination and drive, while Rio tends to lose concentration at times.
Cole Vs Evra - I would definitely choose Cole over Evra, because Cole is better at the English game and he has been able to keep up with the best of attackers. However, if Heinze was fit, i would have chosen him over Cole.
Gary Neville Vs Boulharouz - I prefer Gary Neville. Boulharouz is a good defender, but i feel he plows into attackers too often and gives away free kicks. Gary is also better in attack.
Vidic Vs Carvalho - I would go with Carvalho, although Vidic has been playing very well of late, and is proving to be a good header of the ball.
Ballack Vs Carrick - Ballack, by a mile. Carrick tends to play it safe and very often uses the easier option to pass. He doesn't demand the ball.
Lampard Vs Scholes - I believe Scholes is better. His passing and movement is great. Lampard ain't bad either, but I dont think he has the range of passing and vision as Scholes. Also, Scholes was the player of the month, and this proves my point.
Essien Vs Ronaldo - It's not fair to compare these players as they are completely different types of players. Ronaldo is an out and out attacker with phenomenal dribbling skills. Essien is a very good defensive midfielder, who holds the fort, so that the likes of Ballack and Lampard can play their part. But I would go with Ronaldo as I consider thim to be an immensely talented player.
Robben Vs Giggs - At the moment, I think Giggs is playing better than Robben. So I would pick him.
Rooney Vs Shevchenko - As a pure striker, Shevchenko is a better striker. But as an overall player, I would pick Rooney because he creates much more han Sheva. He also brings a lot more people into play than Sheva.
Drogba Vs Saha - At the moment Drogba is in scintillating form and I would pick him over Saha.

Comparing both, brings me to the same conclusion when I compare a Merc (Chelsea), to a Toyota (Man Utd).

A Toyota is good and cheap, on some days driving it seems so easy, but in the long run, I'll take the Mercedes.
