That question came up in the movie Higher Learning. Did you see that movie? I'm not sure how old you are, but when that movie came out, that question was a huge controversy! If you haven't seen the movie, the situation was two college kids got caught in a crowd on their campus as gunfire went off. The first thing the young man did, (played by Omar Epps from "House") was grab his girlfriend by the hand, (played by Tyra Banks), and run. Now, the question was In that intense situation, how many people would actually grab their girlfriend/boyfriend, or wife/husband or anyone they were with, and run?! Was the movie realistic? Some said yes, others disagreed.

I would Definitely stand up for my loved one when they're right. When they're wrong, however, depending on the situation, I would discretely let them know it. In my opinion, love is not manifested when you stand up for someone knowing they're wrong. You always have to tell a loved one the truth, no matter how hard. A loved one that loves you back would appreciate such a gesture more than always sticking up for them weather they're right or wrong.

If it is with someone that I am not close with, then yes I stand up for her no matter what. But if she is wrong and we are discussing it with family or friends, then honesty wins out. I hope for the same from her.

Although her family will annoyingly stick up for her no matter how idiotic a thing she said or did. And every last one of us does stupid things sometimes...

Wait? Can't a woman stand up for her man too?

Dragon would stand up for her boy, right or wrong. That's how it works. She stands up for him, he stands up for her.

Dragon has experienced someone who said he loved her, but then would never stand up for her. That sucks. That's why she stands up for people she cares about.

I can answer that for my fiance, NO NO NO he doesn't support me in anything right or wrong, and doesn't support me for my MS that I was diagnosed with. Time to send him to the curb, after 13 years, I need a man who will be there for me.
