They probably threw a few sheep on the barbie once in a while. I don't know what they did for steak sauce though.

Which nomads? Any person wandering from place to place is a nomad. The Navaho natives were Nomads. Or are you talking about the Arabic, Israelis, in the deserts? They would eat anything they could hunt, or find.
Dependent on the terraine would tell you their diets.

Which nomads? What time period?
Nomads still exist today in parts of the middle east and even Eastern Europe. Please be more specific and i can help you.

In general, nomads eat from the flocks (usually goats and/or sheep although the Masi of Africa herd cows and eat exclusively their blood.
