I work for an employment agency and it's illegal to discriminate against a pregnancy woman. You did not have to tell them your condition, however if you do get the job, I would let them know, cause you are going to be showing soon. Just be upfront with your supervisor, and say, I am having a baby and want to let you know when my due date is and that this will not interfere with my performance. Let them know you will return immediately after you 6 week check up if there are no complications. Also you may luck out with it being a doctors office, they may be more understanding.
Good luck.

The fact that you are pregnant was not something that needed to be discussed during your interview. Your health status should not be an issue, but if you would have brought it up, I promise you, you would not have gotten the job. So now that you have the job, you need to find out when your benefits start prior to letting them know you are pregnant, because they may try to deny you coverage until after the birth of your child. Good luck on the job and your baby.

I'd wait and work really hard. Come up with some new kind of oranization plan or something that will reallt impress her. Then tell her and follow the news with your plan of taking off will go and when you'll be back. Tell, her how much your loving your job and reassure her that she doesn't have to worry you won't slack. Good luck!

Wait til you start to show. You may end up not liking the job. I wouldn't bring it up until I had to. However, you do need to bring it up at least during the seventh month of your pregnancy. That would give them 2 months or more to find someone to cover you while you are out.

Are you specific it relatively is 3 months probation? Many companies do a evaluation after 30 days. You hit the nail on the top - they're going to in all threat permit you choose for another reason (because of the fact they are able to't legally fire you for needing FMLA leave in case you anticipate). ** Your perfect protection at this factor is to be the perfect worker you would be. do no longer are available late. do no longer leave early. artwork as no longer worry-free as you may; be as friendly and expert as you may. which will evade them from utilising yet another "reason" to terminate you. And giving them much greater of a reason to choose you back after leave is over (possibly they might hire a temp to swap you?) ** you will would desire to study the guidelines on your state, yet there's a stable threat they might help pass. i'm no longer attempting to be harsh, only permit you comprehend the straightforward reality. in the event that they do permit you pass, and you intend on returning to artwork after the newborn is born, gain this a minimum of six months to a three hundred and sixty 5 days earlier you get pregnant back (while you're making plans on greater youngsters) - that way you have a while outfitted up on the activity and it would be very no longer worry-free for them to legally permit you pass. as some distance because of the fact the main appropriate time to tell your boss, this relies upon on the timing of the evaluation. in the adventure that your evaluation is in 30 days, wait till after that. in spite of the undeniable fact that, in the event that they're imparting you with a ninety day probation (and assessment), you will would desire to be upfront and tell her quicker. it relatively isn't stable to lie, yet to that end you will would desire to fib and faux you in effortless terms found out.

It doesnt matter whether your job knows your pregnant or not
It is illegal to fire or lay someone off because of pregnancy
That would be discrimination!!!!!
Unless your company can proove the position they gave you would cause harm to your baby while pregnant

as soon as they find out they will probably get rid of you for another reason-they can always make something up and you didnt say your state but if its an employment at will state then you can be terminated very easily.
good luck though.

And, women wonder why they are not considered for higher positions.
If I were your employer, I'd feel that you took the job just to receive maternity benefits. I'd feel irritated that now I had to spend time and effort to find and train a replacement for you. I'd feel (rightly) that you withheld important information from me.
I would NOT be inclined to "hold" the position for you. Why should I? Who knows what else you would fail to disclose?
I'm a woman, myself, but I'd never pull a cheap stunt like this, and expect to remain employed.
