Yesterday one of my goldfish died. The fish was stuck on the filter part that pulls the water to be filtered... and yesterday took me a while to figure out if my fish was really dead. Today I woke up with another of my goldfish stuck in the same place. It seems that they are not too strong to swim out of it. So, I turned off the system, and tryed to feed it. This fish is not dead. But the sucking system made it bent! Now he is having problems swimming and is trying to hide his face on the small rocks from the botton. He does not want to eat. I used my chop stickes to guide the food to his mouth... Can he survive? Is him hurt? Is him sofering? What am I supposed to do? He tries to swim a little, but them he goes back to the rocks and hide his face... I am so sad... I only have two fishs left... I bought my fishes a week ago... Somehow they all are dying :-(.

Fish usually only get stuck to a filter when they are weakened and dying. Your tank is going through it's cycle, it's very tough on the fish, many die. Do water changes of 30-40% every other day or even daily to get the ammonia and nitrites down. You can also add some BioSpira or Stability to help quick cycle the tank and minimize fish loss. Goldfish are also very dirty fish, producing tons of ammonia. How big is your tank? If it's only a 10 gallon or smaller I'd go with a betta (less than 10 gallons) or a tropical community in a 10 gallon. If you really want a goldfish, I'd put one goldfish max in a 10 gallon, even that's too small for him. Good luck to you and your fish.

Your fish are dying from ammonia poisoning as their tank isn't cycled.

What size tank & how many fish please?

For now do a 30% water change ( add dechlorinator to the new water) and repeat this daily for the next 5 weeks.

i hate to tell ya but i believe your fish is probably going to die. You should probably get a new filter for your tank if the fish keep getting stuck in the one you own.
