As one who finds America's politics fascinating from afar, seems to me that we'll be starting to see stirrings of a presidential campaign this time next year as Bush gets ready to leave the White House. If you're Michael Moore, its a good thing...Rush Limbaugh, its not...but that's not what I'm asking. Who are the future candidates for the next election and, perhaps, 2012 as well?

I look to see Barrack Obama as a future Democratic Candidate, and John McCain as the repuglican, Rudy Giuliani will play a role in the next election and so will Hillary Clinton I think.

Mitt Romney, John McCain and Rudy Guiliani seem to be in the front on the Republican side. Problems are John and Rudy are a little more moderate, even liberal on some social issues and Mitt is very conservative. That can hurt the Republicans. Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama and (yuck) John Kerry are standing out so far for the Democrats. John, no way!! Hillary, I doubt it. Obama - too inexperienced. We the people better hope more names start showing up!!!!

I believe some of the more likely candidates are Hillary Clinton, unless her new seat is comfortable to her. Mario Cuomo. Never know but possibly a celebrity like Ted Turner or Lynn Swann. On the republican side, it will either be an unknown if the war issue isn't resolved or Regula, Voinovich, Rockefeller, or possibly even Gingrich may resurface.
