Is it inherently passive to be penetrated? Is it inherently non-active or non-passive to penetrate? What do women who have strap-on sex with their partners/bfs think?

Her on top certainly isn't passive; him underneath isn't very non-passive and those people who think this q. is perverted or even a bit dorky are children, haven't grown up mentally or know nothing about sex.

I don't feel passive when penetrated - certainly not. But i suppose i do feel a bit more active in an aggressive way when i penetrate (strap-on). This may just be a state of mind. I am certainly not an aggressive person. I can't really answer this question. I feel that if both (or all) parties present having sex are enjoying it then it doesnt really matter who is passive, who is not or whatever. Its supposed to be fun!

Nope. Penetration has nothing to with involvement. As long as a partner is involved, He/She is active. Just need some passion from either side

I don't see a connection between penetration and passive sex. Being passive is all in your attitude, however you practise sex. To me, passive sex is when someone just lies there and hardly participates at all. Like a statue.
As long as you are participative, you are active.

What there is nothing wrong with penetrative sex.
I don't believe in doing that to my husband with a strap on it would make me question my his sexuality

If done right, a partner can not be passive during sex.

penetration does not equal domination. Being passive or dominant is a state of mind.

Not at all, if your in the submission role. I think a man who allows a woman to control the situation, is a very lucky man:)
