What do other countries think of Ireland and Australia? I know in America theres irish jokes just like blonde jokes... Does that mean Americans dont like the irish or just think their dumb or something?

When we flew over Ireland we could distinguish its borders by its verulant green shadings thus the emerald isle. I have always loved the Irish and own a lots of Irish music. I truely believe that in another life I was Irish and did you know that here in Israel we have the Irish Israeli Friendship Club to whitch I can proudly say I belong. God save Ireland

Americans love Ireland and Australia. Most Americans I know claim to be part Irish and most would love to visit Australia.
Maybe there are Irish jokes for the same reason there are blonde jokes. Given a choice of hair color, most people would rather be naturally blonde (or blond). Most women who can plausibly get away with dyeing their hair blonde go ahead and do it.

I am an American but, I also have Irish and Scottish roots, so I love Ireland, it is the number one spot on my list of places that I want to see someday, I have only seen it in pictures, it looks so beautiful!!!I really don't think Americans think badly of the Irish at all, because many of them are here, I love Irish accents I could listen to it all day! I don't know much about Australia,I do know they have beautiful beaches and big spiders.

They are both great countries! Hope I get to visit them both one day. We Americans love the Irish. On St Patrick's Day in the U.S., anyone who has the slightest trace of Irish blood will announce to everyone that he or she is Irish. The jokes exist, just because everyone loves jokes, whether they be clean or dirty and tasteless. I love Aussies too!

nah, people always have jokes like the priest the buddish and the rabbi, just funny jokes. There is no point behind the jokes. My brother is Australian and he told me about the jokes people made about Americans, who really cares?

BTW best day in my LIFE was when Aussie Croc Molestor Steve Irwin died.
