Bob Dylan is Jewish/yes

Robert Zimmerman was born in Duluth, Minnesota, and was raised there and in Hibbing, Minnesota, on the Mesabi Iron Range northwest of Lake Superior. His grandparents were Jewish immigrants from Lithuania, Russia, and Ukraine, and his parents, Abraham Zimmerman and Beatrice Stone (Beatty), were part of the area's small but close-knit Jewish community. He lived in Duluth until age seven, when his father was stricken with polio. The family returned to nearby Hibbing, Beatty's hometown, where Robert Zimmerman spent the rest of his childhood.

Yes.

Bob converted to Christianity in the late 70's even though there's been christian references in his music from the 60's. There's speculation that he went back to Judaism, but in his latest album he writes:

Thunder on the mountain rolling to the ground
Gonna get up in the morning walk the hard road down
Some sweet day I'll stand beside my King
I wouldn't betray your love or any other thing

Everybody going and I want to go too
Don't wanna take a chance with somebody new
I did all I could, I did it right there and then
I've already confessed, no need to confess again

anyway, is he Jewish, is he Christian? Does it really matter? Is he Judeo-Christian? perhaps: Or as he says:

"I practice a faith that's been long abandoned
Ain't no altars on this long and lonesome road"

That's enough for me to know about the specifics of his religion.

He went from Judaism too Christianity and then back too Judaism. He had sort of a Christian rock thing and it didn't sound too good.
