my team in fantasy football is already in the playoffs so i was wondering if this trade is worth it. I would be giving Marc Bulger and Torry Holt for Payton Manning. But when the playoffs are on week 14,15,16 and indianapolis already has the division won will payton play in the games enough to get me the points he usually gets?

Tony Dungy has already said that he'll rest his starters when Indy clinches, so that likely means Jim Sorgi in Week 16, if not earlier.

I know Marc Bulger isn't Peyton Manning, but he's a top-12 fantasy QB. Manning is an obvious upgrade, but I would hate to give up one of the top fantasy WRs for an upgrade at a position where you don't really need one. You've been winning with Bulger, so you should just use the strengths you already have.

This is a deal I may have considered at the beginning of the year, but I wouldn't do it now.

I would say yes. Marc Bulger is doin ok, and Torry Holt is good, but c'mon it's Peyton Manning. He's on his way to a second straight league MVP, and the heart of thier schedule is coming up. I seriously doubt they'll repeat last year's success, not saying they won't do good it's just that they have some really tough games in the next few weeks and Peyton will more than likely start.

I am a huge Colts fan so I would tell you to get Payton Manning. But if you are already in the playoffs, I would just stick with what you have b/c as much as I want, I don't think the colts will win all 16 games and once they lose, Payton won't play at all besides 2 plays every game. So I would stick with what I have.

Sounds fair if you are in need of a WR.
Also, if isn't a keeper league.

Most likely not. I would hold on to what you have esp. if it is winning for you.

In your situation I would hold off on the trade. 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it'.
