Hi, two things I can suggest to really help you but first as you are 14, starting on a muscle building programme will be dangerous for you. Your body is still growing and research says that young people who build muscle, damage there bodies in a way that does not affect them untill later life when the body is fully grown and settled. You may get joint problems and deep muscle/tendon issues and have a skeletal posture problem.

This is what I suggest. Join your local Judo or Rugby club. These two sports are very dynamic, using a wide range of muscle groups and develop all round stregth and endurance. Judo is apparently third in the sports that are most demanding on the body as it uses so many muscle groups and all school chn in Japan train in judo as part of the curriculum.

Your body will adapt to the needs of these sports and as you grow your body will grow muscle in a way that benefits your sport. This is because as your move in a certain way regularly your muscles gain 'muscle memory' and your body becomes pre-programmed to deploy new muscle where it is going to be needed, for judo it will be mainly, central core (all round your torso), biceps, forearms, chest, shoulder, hips and back. For rugby less so core muscles and more shoulders and legs (depending on which ypsotion you play.

Your strength will be built up too as will your general fitness and your agiltiy, speed and reaction times.

Check out bodybuilding.com and read Body for life by Ben Phillips.

Both sources have a lot of good information.

My only advice is do NOT have anything containing Aspartame.

Diet drinks, no added sugar stuff, chewing gum . . .anything at all.

Watch the labels on everything you put in your gob, if it says E951, Aspartame or 'Contains a source of phenylalanine' then avoid it BIG TIME.

Now READ MY LINKS!
