I would have to say a c-section, since I've been through one. During a c-section an incision is made into the abdomen and the uterus. Which means muscle and nerves are severed during surgery. It has been almost 6 years since I had a c-section with my son, and I still haven't regained complete feeling to my stomach region. The lower part of my navel to the incision scar is still numb.
And the recovery! I was in the hospital for four days. It didn't help matters that I had complications. They closed my incision with staples, and every time I moved I could feel the staples resisting and pulling. It took several weeks before I was able to walk upright, normally. Pain medications barely took the edge off the pain.
I imagine that a tummy tuck would be painful too, but I don't think the recovery time is nearly as long, as long as there aren't complications.

they are 2 completely different things. But I would have to say the c-section because it doesn't just cut thru skin, it cuts thru the uterus as well...and then a baby is pulled out... A tummy tuck they just cut off some skin and sew ya back together

c section is worse b/c it involves cutting muscle tissue... and when that tissue heals it will be scar tissue... there are many more nerves and tissues involved in a c section... a tummy tuck is just a snip and a tuck of the skin... no muscle tissue involved... healing process is much quicker on a tummy tuck as well

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
