You should stick with neutral colors.
A white shirt with a tie with your navy suit is acceptable.

white is classic, but plain......if you're going with a full navy suit, find a tie first that you like....make sure it has navy in it and then go with a contrasting shirt color.....yellow for example.....you could find a light yellow shirt with a navy tie with a yellow design in that navy tie...same goes for a light blue shirt......50 years ago black and white was the thing, but now a days color is in.....as long as you keep in in the same color family, anything would work well....good luck with the interview....remember color shows expression....they're not going to hire you if you seem boring

A crisp white shirt is your best bet. Looks clean, smart and goes well with navy blue. But make sure it is white white and not a dull/grey white

Depends on the position you are applying for. I only use formal attire when seeking a professional position. Dress yourself to go to work that day, indicate you are ready to start now. Its an advantage all its own.

Nah, its doesn't matter, as long as you look your best. freshly shaved, clean cut, and brush your teeth. don't smoke before an interview either. they can smell it that mean he's hiring someone that needs to take 5min breaks every hour.
