That depends on who you as. i am currently reading Rule By Secrecy written by Jim Marrs. in this book he talks about the ties between governemt, secret societies and the large banking families. the goal according to mr. Marrs of these families and societies is to one day have a single governemnt that runs the world. there have been efforts made according to the book to further move this into place. the wars funded on both sides by the same family, sevret meatings where topics discussed became legislature the E.U the future North American Union with Canada U.S and Mexico, maybe not soon but down the road it's coming. So what is the hope? the hope is that by some grace of the god u believe in that a candidate not supported by the families and societies which come from both parties by the way can slip through the cracks get elected and clean house strating over with the people in charge.
