go to local bank and ask to set up joint account & they will give you book to fill out. that's what we done last year.

both of you go to the bank you want to open an account in & fill in the necessary forms. You will need 2 forms of identification i.e. proof of address ( bt bill, electric bill, driving licence etc) and proof of identity ( passport or driving licence if it is one of the new ones with a photo on).
If it is a current account you want to open then you may also need last 3 months wage slips to prove you have a regular income.

Go into the bank and fill in the forms with your other half, as you both need photo id

Go in to bank with partner(or whoever it is). Take you r ID with you and fill out a lot of forms
