I am 26 weeks pregnant and my son moves at various times throughout the day-sometimes alot right before I go to bed, sometimes mostly during the daytime.Alot of times he wakes up about 3 in the morning and plays and kicks. As long as your baby is moving that is the good thing-there is no set schedule for a baby moving.

Every baby is different! Some like bugging you when you are sleeping and some like to sleep with you at night because there is no movements! In this case though you are blessed and should not worry..My baby kicked me ALL night right in the ribs..Half of the time I would jump in bed or yell because sometimes it hurt soo much!

Babies move when they feel the urge. They do have a sleep cycle, even in utero, and you'll notice it more often the farther you are. If you walk a lot during the day it can rock baby to sleep and have them up all night or vice versa.

All babies have different sleeping patterns... sounds like your baby is going to be a good night sleeper.... as long as he is active during the day there is nothing wrong with him sleeping at night...

also... sleep produces a chemical that passes through the placenta,,, so he is sleeping cause you are sleeping..

good luck... and I pray you have a healthy and happy baby.

I'm not an expert, but I had a similar experience with my first child---he was completely still during the day ( which worried me ), but did the mambo all night long, sometimes up in my ribcage! Also, if this is your first child, you may be more sensitive to the baby's movement, no matter what time of day it is!

Yes it's normal. You can sleep at night-that's a good thing. The baby is moving that's great. If he/she keeps that sleep pattern then you'll be able to sleep when he/she is born. Keep your fingers crossed on that one.-Good luck & CONGRADULATIONS.

Well, that's positive. Maybe you will be lucky enough that he'll stay on that schedule once he's born. But please don't count on it. Most infants get their days and nights mixed up for awhile. Right now, you can get a good night's sleep. You should be happy and do that.

By 20 weeks babies have circadian rythems in place. They follow pretty strict asleep and awake times. They set these up on their own, and change them through out pregnancy.

Its very normal. Most babies are awake more at night, and sleep through the your movements during the day. Although not all babies follow that routine.

Youre fine :)

well its normal u will notice that the farther u r in pregnancy the less u will feel movement becaus eof the lack of space. it could be the way u are lying down that restricts hi/her movement too. but if at night u dont feel movement at ALL! u should talk to ur doctor, but other wise it shouldnt be anythign to worry about..... he/she is just comfortable in their nice water bed lol :)

I don't think it's unusual...I've heard that you can tell from how the baby moves in the womb what his schedule will be when he gets out. If that is the case, consider yourself lucky...
