I'm not much of a horror fan, but I really liked Gothika. In comedy I have tons of faves - Welcome to Collingwood, Snatch, Money Pit, Funny Farm, Monty Python movies.

Horror: The Devils Backbone. Very good Spanish suspense.
Comedy: Four Weddings & A Funeral. I know, a bit naff to some, but to me it just never looses its charms.
