I found out about my son when i was only 12 weeks pregnant. And my daughter at 16 weeks pregnant. I believe that the sex can be determined starting at around 12 weeks, but for more accuracy it's best to wait until you are at least 20 weeks.

Well people have found out the sex accurately at about 15 weeks or so. My advice would be, if your going to get the ultrasound done to find out the sex wait till you atleast 18 weeks. There is always room for error, but at 18 weeks and up it is easier to detect, and more accurate as well. I had a friend who was told she was having a girl at 16 weeks...sure enough she had a little boy. I know it is hard to put off an u/s cause they are sooo fun, but it is worth it if you really want to get a more accurate reading. Also, i started feeling movement around 16 weeks, i am very petite tho...and it was not till i was 20 weeks that i was positive it was my lil one moving..and arond 24 25 weeks my boyfriend started to feel her...it sooo exciting...i wish you the best!!! dont worry time goes fast from here....
just for entertainment...i went to a museum that had fetuses in a jar and the one at 12 weeks looks like a lil GI joe...it was sooo tiny but yet so human like...its amazing!!!

You will most likely be able to find out the sex at an ultrasound done around 20 weeks. I think you can tell as early as 15 weeks but most women don't have an ultrasound that early.
For a first pregnancy somewhere around 20 weeks you will start to feel movement from the baby. First it will feel like butterflies in your stomach and get stronger as the pregnancy progresses.

Usually at your 20 weeks ultrasound is when you can tell the sex of the baby-that is when I found out with both of my pregnancies. As far as baby moving and kicking-you can usually start to feel that between 18 and 20 weeks.

Baby's gender is usually developed around 16-18 weeks so your sonogram after that will show. That should be also around the same time you start to feel movement. 18-20 weeks is normal, sooner for second or more children. Congrats!

I didnt start feeling my lil one move till 20 weeks. I also went in for my ultrasound at 21 weeks and I didnt get to see what the gender was. It all depends if your baby opens their legs for you to see. I just found my gender out a month ago, I had a 3d ultrasound done. It was worth the extra money to see, it is better then the standard hospital test.

about 15 weeks they will ask you if you want to know the sex. Sometimes it's like 14 weeks or so so by December 1st you can start asking. Congratulations! Movement will kick in shortly after that because the baby is gaining motor skills... like you said hard to be sure!

sex...as early as 16 weeks but possibilities of wrong sex being dtermined are highre at that stage. naturally we all develope at diff rates, so it is best to wait until 19 weeks. and with the movement is tricky the first ytime around but if you are that excited and unless you are obese you will feel; i would describe it as a twitch feeling, there will not be a sudden kick or fist in your side, for this child is small and just kinda stretching outand flipping, with my second I was feeling it , the twitch, like a butterfly feeling for sure at 13 weeks. give it a month, but be aware of this feeling you are looking for. if you are looking for a major move..it will be a moment. though it sounds like that little twitch is major to you. congradulations and God bless you and your baby. I had a stillborn child at 38 weeks ,due to umbilical cord accident. not to worry you. this could have been seen if... feel free to mail me at porchpup552003@yahoo.com and I will give you a kul site to take you through this thing and then some.
