so long as we carry our indianness with us in our hearts, no chance in hell of such a thing happening...
our culture is too cool to be ashamed of (sure it gets a little frivolous at times if u know wat i mean?!)...
i think that so long as people like u and me(& crores of other proud indians) are alive our culture is only going to spread around the world... so wat if we have to encounter a few setbacks...

I am a traditionalist in a way. I love culture, because to me that is all that community is about.
To a degree I think that India is being westernized, to me bastardized. But one must realize that as Eleanor Roosevelt said, "one cannot make you feel inferior without your consent," or cross-applied, India is only as bastardized as it wants to be.
Does this make sense to you? I have enough faith in Indians that they love their culture and want to keep it alive. The food is 'delicioso' to borrow from the Spaniards, and the culture is deeper than the midnight sky. It's so vast and entrancing that one wonders why anybody would ever pollute it.
If a person hates his roots, that is his personal business. I could never be ungrateful for mine, because if I were I would not be true to myself.

Indian culture is getting westernised. i lived in Europe for 4 years went to India and found that we are hypocrites.i celebrated our festivals even when i was living abroad while in India i saw that people have started drinking and spoiling the real meaning of festivals. Indians living in the USA talk against India. that makes Americans dislike Indians. where ever Indians go their mentality to have politics among themselves makes others hate India. in fact i wrote about a few in my life abroad book.

Western culture can only affect us up to the extent that we allow them to. Take heart however, for I believe there are still majority of Indians who value the culture and tradition inherited from forefathers. Indian culture will always be there because it is worth preserving.

i appreciate your concern about Indian youth. good.
generation gap is common for all nations. Americans feel so that their youth are not traditional. how ever change is common in societies. i read it so that Westerners will prefer eastern culture and Easterners prefer Western in the book 'future shock' around 35 years back. so nothi ng harm will happen to Indian culture than mere change; social change.

human beings have been continuously the comparable, in previous media became no longer that lively and human beings have been greater illiterate so maximum concerns have been suppressed yet now media is lively and greater concerns come into mild so it kinda looks like what you're saying. approximately changing traits of youthful technology, i will call it independence, if some woman prefer to wears much less outfits i haven't any problem with that problem would desire to be for the kin of the female and the female if she will become sufferer of someones lust, that threat would be called as cost for for this reason called independence. human beings have selection properly they use happier and longer they're going to stay. lifestyle is something which will substitute and we can't stop it type changing, and tell me does lifestyle provides milk? what's so efficient approximately it. stay and permit stay.

No, there is no truth in it. There may be some attraction because of the development, freedom etc. but is temporary. The culture is as existing and there today.
