Did anyone think it was silly last night. I mean last week was retarded with that challenge they had to do, now this week they had to speak a different language which was stupid to me!

yeah but they shouldn't have been judges on that cuz of course they would mess up!

it was ridiculous. these challenges get stupider/harder by the week.... it was painful to watch all of them. they all sucked.
and i hope melrose and her cheesy smiling and annoying know-it-all *** GOES HOME SOON!!!!

As much as she annoys me, Melrose was right to practice. Plus, they had cue cards... and they didn't even have to ace the Spanish language, they just had to read the cards and behave appropriately. Melrose was somewhat confortable with the strange words, so she did OK, but everyone else didn't prep for it, and stumbled through it.
It was more the way they screwed up the lines, than the fact that they screwed them up. I was more upset that they didn't have any actual picture challenges - I'd rather see them than videos of them. They shouldn't do a commercial as the only challenge in a week.
And I was also mad that Caridee was judged so harshly, when she can obviously act. The judges tend to base too much on the current challenge, and seem to forget about how well/poorly they did in the past.
I'm glad Jaeda's gone though. She really was the "weakest link"!

It seemed fitting that Jaeda was STILL complaining about her hair as she walked out the door. She looked 10 times better in short hair, but just couldn't see it. She wouldn't have lasted this long if there hadn't been so many others with even bigger problems than hers. I'm beginning to like Melrose. She is professional and does a good job. The group really jumped on her for telling the judges that she practiced 2 extra hours - What was their problem? I think they were just jealous. They should have done the same - it is a competition!

In all actuality it is VERY, VERY common for models and actors to go to different countries and do commericals in different languages. We just don't know about them because we are here in the US. And it is not the first time they did this on ANTM either. In Japan, (Eva the Diva won that cycle) they had to do a commercial in Japanese which is a much harder language than Catalan. The point of the challenge was to be able to keep composed and still make it look good dispite the language barrier. Not to get the words right.
But I agree with you on last weeks challenge. WTH was that about? LOL

I didnt think that last nights episode was silly.. I was laughing through most of it though! It must've been so embarassing for the girls to do that commercial! BUT.. they should have all done what Melrose did and memorized those lines! Im glad that that girl got cut off (dont remember her name) because shes been in the bottom every week so far and it was time for her to go. I thought her take for the commercial was the absolute worst. Regardless of the fact that the dumb model that she was working with didnt like black girls, she should have put that aside (thats something every model is going to have to deal with throughout their careers) and tried her best.

On top of the ridiculous challenges, what I find even more stupid is that very little happens to the winner's career after the show. Not many ANTM winners or contestants have really done well after it's over.

i think it was hard for the girls but these are things they'll be faced with if they are chosen to win. I'm glad that girl with the short hair went home, she didn't take good pictures. Caridee is my favorite. And although Melrose is annoying u kinda have to admit, shes done great with every challenge and all pictures have been real good.She may just win.

Well, I think the girls should have just played with it.
Modelling is all about acting and role playing. It dosen't really matter if you do or don't know a foreign language.
It's really how you play it out.
By the way, I just love Madison.
She's so competitive but also really nice and really wants to be friends with the other girls.
But business is business and there really will be only ONE winner.
