Normally I say I won't be in because I'm not feeling well. Most company's offer sick days to their employees and that's what it is a sick day, usually only a notice that you won't be in is needed; you aren't obligated to give your medical information. If the illness extends for a few days you may be required to bring proof of illness from your MD.

The excuse I always use is that I'm having female problems. That sums it up and hopefully no other info. is needed. Believe me, if you're talking to a male they don't want to know anymore than that.

If you are not able to function when you have your period then you need to see the doc to as you may have something like endometriosis or PCOS. When periods are bad enough to keep you home they need to be checked out by the doc.

dont give an excuse!!!lol just put it out there, they dnt bother to ask next time :)!
say "im on my period, i have cramps, the red sea is coming out of me, and i have a headache....dnt mess with me"
after that,they go away :)
works like a charm

if you are having problems that bad that you can't do your normal functions you need to see a doctor and let them give you an excuse. aside from that tell them you are not feeling well, thats not a lie.

Simply tell them you are not feeling well.There's no need to give details. But if your periods are infact that bad that you have to miss work/school you should consult your dr.

simple... just say ur sick, its tru... cause when ur on ur period you dont feel like going anywhere... men need to understand that women need at least one day off from their job to rest when on their period
