Can they do magic without wand? How?
Is it called HERALDRY?
Are wandless magic and heraldry actually just the same?

What works for one witch might not work for another. I've never used a wand and my spell works are very effective.

Herald meaning - messenger sent to announce/ to be a sign that is announcing.

Heraldry meaning - Study of coats of arms.

Wand meaning - Slim stick used by magicians. Want a rabbit to come out of a hat type thing... Or a dove to appear... ? LOL NOTE : Magicians not witches!

Now there are rods and staffs...

Rod - long stick with line attached used for fishing without line attached used for walking or fire poking.

Staff - member of a staff lol - long stick used for walking and other meaning an officers stick for beatings.

Spell work and witch craft is not what you see on t.v .

Have you heard about the rain stick that have rattel snakes rattles in them,? this is used in their (Native Americans) rituals and rain dances.

I'm not saying witches don't use them I'm just saying no this witch does not! Only for fire poking! and to rise smoke from the buring end of it...

Hope this helps.

Heraldry? I think you are thinking of Heathenry, which is not Witchcraft.

A wand is simply a tool for directing energy, but it is not a requisite. Nor do we cast Hexes, Jinxes or Curses.

Wandless magick is what most magick is. A wand is not necessary.

you don't have to use a wand. there are other tools you can use to cast a spell and everthing you listed. the sword for instance, you can use that to replace the athame to draw the casting circle. they can also however replace the wand. the sword being an intrument of power and stregnth would be a suitable replacement i would suppose. i don't use any tools to cast spells, although i sometimes use a small dagger that i concecrated in the place of an athame. when i cast the spell however i just concentrated on what i am aiming to do and nothing else. i works for me, but then again everyone is different and some people find it easier to use a tool or something they associate with what they are trying to achieve to reach their full potential

No. A wand is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. It only helps you focus yourself to perform the magik you need to.

And heraldry is... well, it has nothing at all to do with witchcraft in any way. They are symbols created by ancient peoples and put on things like shields. They mean nothing, though they're cool to look at. And they're given by royalty to honor people that have served them well.

Magic is based on the mindset of the witch, not what materials he or she has. Certain scents and tools may help achieve the appropriate state of mind, but thats it. They are not necessary; its possible to do magic with absolutely nothing.
I don't know what you're talking about with heraldry.

i know of the wand that you are talking about though i dont use the wand for my spells or rituals.i dont even have a wand to tell you the truth.the wand is used in the traditional witchcraft.i do nocturnal witchcraft, and use only the athme.so no,you dont have to use the wand even if you are a traditional witch.that is clearly up to you.what is the most powerfulist tool in magick and spell casting,is your energy and your mind.the tools that u have to use is just like tools for the car.to help accomplish your goal.thus, your energy and your hearts desire will make the magick spell fulfill.it has to come from inside of you.only you.

What?

Heraldry has to do with creating coats of arms and other images that were used within families, and with honors given to lords and the like.

Wands are used only by certain kinds of magic users.

'Wandless' magic is more common.

(Unless this question is about Harry Potter.)

It is to focus the energy. Any magick can be used without a wand. Begnner? Well Jinxs i have no clue what they are but Curses should be only used as a last resort or not at all. I have never used one. Its not like Harry Potter alright.

No, because it depends on the type of magic that u'll practice.. for exemple, if u had "mind powers" u wouldnt need one wouldnt u?...

Wands are just used as a symbol these days, are not actually really linked to magic itself, at least, not like now, it also means wisdom, an elder might have one, its also, like others say, to focus ur powers ..etc..etc...

No , a wand is a prop to help focus the attention of a practitioner, sort of a self-hypnosis trigger. The more effort put in to it's making, the more personalized it is, the stronger is it's effect is a focusing tool.
