I loved that Schmoo and when I was little, I used to wish that I could have him. He could change himself into different forms and was really cute what with his whiskers.

I LOVED SCHMOO! He was cute. He reminded me of a marshmellow that could make cute noises. If I ever get a long haired white cat, that is what I will name it.

I believe the Schmoo was associated with Dave Garroway who was the first host of the Today Show on NBC. There were blowup Schmoos that children enjoyed, and I think there were stuffed ones, too
