The Unknowns are one each from WW1, WW2 and Korea. The crypt that once held the remains of a serviceman from Vietnam remains empty.
The Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., is also known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and has never been officially named. The Tomb of the Unknowns stands atop a hill overlooking Washington, D.C. On March 4, 1921, Congress approved the burial of an unidentified American soldier from World War 1.
The Tomb sarcophagus was placed above the grave of the Unknown Soldier of World War 1. West of the World War 1 Unknown are the crypts of unknowns from World War 2, Korea and Vietnam.
The remains of the Vietnam Unknown were exhumed May 14, 1998. Based on mitochondrial DNA testing, DoD scientists identified the remains as those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie, who was shot down near An Loc, Vietnam, in 1972. It has been decided that the crypt that contained the remains of the Vietnam Unknown will remain vacant.

I think you mean Arlington national cemetery. It was originally General Lee's home in Virginia. The North thought it to be poetic justice to turn it into a national cemetery for Union soldiers only. That was changed and both Union and Confederates were buried there.
Therefore the first Unknown soldier was from the civil war. However, it was not called the tomb of the unknown soldier. That title did not come about until 1920 and the first "real" unknown was a WWI soldier. This tradition was started by the British then the French. Soon after America followed. But there are many unknown Union and Confederate soldiers buried at Arlington.
