Firefox is blazing fast compared to IE.. If you're going slow, then you might have picked up some virus, adware or spyware that's slowing you to a crawl, and needs to be cleaned. Also, check how much free hard disk space & total RAM you've got and most important- your Internet connection speed. No matter how fast your computer is, if you're on dial-up, internet access will be slow. Any form of broadband, even 384K DSL should be pretty swift.

I'M Charlie i have been using water fox for a few days now 64 bits and it does seems faster than the reg of fox but does have faults tho when you go to type it don follow very good needs to speed up wild you are typing just not fast a niff so it does have some faults but other then that it is very good try it you may like it, thanks and keep up the good work water fox version 43.0.4 is very good try it? thank you?

You may not have a lot of memory, FireFox generally uses 25mb or more, and is known to exceed 40mb.
Opera for the most part is the only other (good) web browser that is widely known and readily available.

In my opinion opera is the fastest and secure browser.If you want speed up internet you have to delete all the temprory internet files and cookies regularly.

It may not be that your broeser is slow. i would suggest looking at how much memory and ram you have. if its not that try defraging it and then do a virus scan. if none of those help i suggest calling your internet provider.
