get a real christmas tree. If you dont want a real one, or already own a fake one like I do, then get some holiday candles. There is an awesome candle company called gold canyon candles - and they have a website. They have a fabulous holiday line that you can order (you will need a local rep, but they have a search tool to locate one) but they have a nutcracker one that smells like the nutcracker tea they sell from celestial seasonings. Smells warm and buttery. Also they have a cinnamon vanilla which is very christmasy, and then traditional fur tree, or pine - more masculine scents. These candles usually linger the scent for a couple of days. They last a long time too.

You can make apple cider on the stove and that will make it smell christmasy. Oh yeah, and the gold canyon people also have some sprays that are pretty good and last awhile too.

Bringing in evergreens and put them in vases will give you the Christmasy smell. That is the trimmings from Christmas trees. Also, you can put a pot on the stove to simmer with cinnamon, cloves, oranges, has that holiday cooking smell. These are basically free. If you can buy something, candles are always good and come in many scents. The more expensive ones work best and last longer.HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Apple cider, or Apple Cinnamon candles always work. Also, try wax burner instead of candles because the smell is much more real. They also have pine scented, which I'm not too fond of, but it is Christmassy!

Good Luck, and only burn one scent at a time, it will smell much better!

Get a real pine tree. Bake some real apple and pumpkin pies from scratch.

Artificial aromas from cinnomon spice candles do the trick but nothing replaces that real pine smell.

Apple Cinnamon candles, you can buy them at Target. Put one in your kitchen and in your guest bathroom too! If you buy a good one, you might not even need to light it for the smell to start working. Also they sell cinnamon smelly pinecones at craft stores if you put them in a basket in any room it will smell like Christmas all season long!

You can bake cookies and use them as Christmas tree ornaments. Shortbread cookies and gingerbread men are two nice choices. You can even buy Glade candles. They have limited time candles which are especially made for Christmas! I have a pumpkin pie one and it smells so yummy.

Potpouri, candles, and room sprays along with natural plant boughs will all help. You can choose scents such as orange, pine, bayberry, cranberry, chestnut, or "sugar cookie" smells in all of these forms.

Cut some limbs from a cedar tree . Put a bowl out with some apples and oranges in it. You could make a center piece for your table out of these items.
