1. solve x^2-x-6>0 Indicate answer using interval notation, and
2. solve _x_ <2 answer in interval notation

plz help. I tried and tried and just cant come up with answer

this is how the question looks right

x^2 -x - 6 > 0
(x-3)(x+2) > 0
Now by inspection, x will have to be > 3 or <-2 to allow the inequality to be true.

x/(x-5) < 2
x < 2(x-5) = 2x - 10
-x < -10
x > 10
