Probably Ps3.
With the XBOX 360 u can go on ebay right now and buy one from somebody for $100(the person probably got it as a gift, and never used it).
The xbox 360 has amazing graphics, wireless controller, all that good stuff that naturally comes with it(burns music, blah, blah, blah)
Ps3 will have graphics just as good, however you should wait a few months.
What! A few months! Am I crazy?
Yes I am. By waiting a few months the price will go down, all the problems will be seen and taken care of on the system, and it will be on ebay, pawn shops, for cheap.
Also it is as to what games you prefer.
I suggest Ps3 because I'm an RPG fan. Ps2 has come out with hundreds of different games, all of them playable on the Ps3. The Xbox hasn't made too many new games, and it just seems to me when you go to the store the variety of games is much better(Ps3 compared to xbox)

Sony may run the game market now but they are falling slowly. Now that we all know that PS3 won't play all games from PS1 and PS2, it's a bit disappointment. They waited to share this news when they released the PS3 in Japan. Right now I would spend my money on the Wii ($250) and if I can't get that, then the 360. Plus since the PS3 is coming out, you may want to wait to see what the complaints are from the consumers. I'm sure they'll have a few as did 360 when it first launched.

You want a good answer right: PS3 has the BluRay system integrated in the PS3 which is better than the HD DVD technology that the XBox 360 has, that gives you almost twice much more capacity to the game systems, that means the PS3 will rock on graphics, also on animation it will have a better way of moving... I will rather wait for the PS3 than purchase an XBox 360... my only comment wait for the second batch of PS3s, as the first batch is always for correcting purposes... also 60GB HD is way MORE than you can imagine! PS3 by far, sony has been making games for longer then Microsoft so they have more experience which shows in the new PS3, its backwards compatible (i think) which means it can play games from the PS1 and 2 unlike the x-box360 which only lets you play the more popular games like halo. And the graphics between the two are very close but i think the PS3 looks much more lifelike then the x-box360. Hope it helps

i had a ps2 and then i got an xbox and the game play and grafics were way better. then i got the 360 and the images were so good i really think that the ps3 will lose this one the price is just to high thats were the xbox will win

okay here's the deal right now ps3 is just coming out and there are gonna be a limited amount out there. so if you get a ps3 with a game and an extra contoler your looking at about 800.00 bucks.... now with a xbox 360 your looking about 500. 00 bucks so its up too you. but id wait and see what happens.. i think the ps3 might have some bugs in it so id wait , plus its too rich for me to pay 800.00 bucks for it.

Im more of PS# guy, Wii will be cheap tho, but of course I never really liked Xbox, the hard drive thing dont bother me, I know peple who modded there PS2 for harddrives, so thats nothing, but the price of the PS3 is just to much for my blood...

Xbox 360, the great thing about it is down the road you can put in the HD drive into it
and there are so many more games out for it

wii, and if the ps3 doenst do good, sony might have to change up some things, since right now the games is the only thing keeping the company alive
