That's like asking a leopard to change its spots.
Good luck though...

With a nasty attitude like that, stay at home and watch the game on TV. You're just trying to pick a fight. Plus the Buckeyes are going to make fools of the Wolverines and this would probably have your supposed 8 year old girl in tears. I've been to the Big House, last year in fact, your fans are boring and old. I guess it's real classy to throw ice cubes at people, that's what your fans did. Oh yeah, we also won 25-21.

hahahah...no way man... it wouldnt matter what stadium you went to you would still get harassed if you wore opposing teams gear. I went to West Virginia and if all the OSU fans do is swear at you then you got out lucky. Just wear neutral colors (lets say maybe a pro team shirt )and you will enjoy the game without being heckled

amen dude, it is just a game, but you have to understand, unreasonable as they are, if you were anything with Michigan on it, people see that as a sign of disrespect and mocking. Go to the game, but dont wear michigan merchandise, wear something neutral if you arent a bucks fan. this game is history for both sides of the ball, and as much as we love our bucks, we got to respect the #2 team in the nation for being a dang good team.

Have you noticed how all these OSU fans are the ones talking crap in all these questions? If OSU fans were soooo great Michigan wouldn't have to send their own police protection for their fans. As a reporter so nicely put it-When did OSU fans become less about the football game and more about hating Michigan?

i understand you not wanting to be disrespected in front of your 8 year old daughter but at the same time some people just can't help themselves they just let their emotions run wild if you are so concerned for your 8 year old daughter then bring her to something more suitable to her and go with a friend instead

Don't count on it. We're not gracious fans, we're probably the rowdiest. You can count on Columbus getting burnt to the ground after the game. Nothing beats celebrating a victory over Michigan like flipping a car on its roof, tossing a couch on top of it, and setting the whole mess on fire!!
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

You will get the same respect, that OSU fans get in that state up north. And if you have a child with you, I am sure you will get even more. But if you flap your chops at a Buckeye, you will get it right back.
It's not like we are standing on top of "The Shoe" with sniper rifles.

to be honest...do you realy think that bringing your 8 year old daughter to the biggest college sporting event of the year, a great idea? i too have kids. so i know where i'm coming from. and since your actually worried to how people are going to act, then you should maybe reconsider and bring a buddy. fans are going to be very intense. think about it.

When I think of Ohio State this jingle always comes to mind, "some times you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't." Keep it all in perspective in that remember a Buckeye is nothing but a worthless nut.

i think taking a 8yr. to a hostel environment is probally a bad idea. after all she is only 8 and probally wouldn't appreciate the game like a buddy. i would take your daughter to a event more suitable to her age. then i would bring a friend and raise hell!
