I've got a Renault Clio mark 2, 1.6 litre automatic, with an alloy sump. I need to replace the sump, so I was wondering if anyone knew the best place to get a replacement from. I've tried local scrapyards, but they don't have the right models in. Cheers

Why does it need replaced? If it's cracked or holed you could have it welded by anyone who can do alluminium welding. Alternatively, you could remove it, clean it well and use an expoxy filler like JB Weld.

Put a request into the online breakers portals, the breakers with the part contact you.

If its just cracked you can TIG weld this at a fraction of the cost of a replacement one if its in bits but still solid around the bolt holes its still weldable with care.It will need cleaning well then they can weld this up so go and find a welding company and ask them how much if you don't ask you don't know.On this it going to cost you a gasket and the time to remove it weld it and then replace it.If you find a replacement you still have to remove and replace it anyway,so its only the cost of the welding that should be cheaper than a second hand or a new one.
