Do you feel unpretty with or without makeup?

I was wondering why I still feel unpretty when I wear makeup?
I still want to wear makeup though but I don't wear too much makeup.

Sometimes I feel unpretty if I don't feel like the makeup fits me. You could try going into a fine department store cosmetic department and get some suggestions. They will let you know what will go with your skin tone, what eye shadow will go good, and if you need more or less makeup. I would try going into Nordstroms or Bloomingdales. Also, try a MAC Cosmetics store. Those places are all really good.

I feel pretty with or with out pretty. I wear make-up because I want to, not because I have to. I have a natural beauty and on some days I just go without. Puttng make-up on is fun for me and I like the whole glam of it.
Make-up isn't for everyone, so if you feel that you are unpretty with it then just dont put it on. Or you should change what kind of makeup you put on. I'm a real basic person, I'll I wear is eyeliner, lipliner, lip gloss and mascara. That's all. No foundation or eye shadow-that's just way too much!!!

I don't need makeup to feel pretty beauty is within your self, the only time I feel unpretty is if I act unpretty. Listen sweetie, you are beautiful, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. You are pretty with or without makeup. Because the real make up lies within youself

Well the problem isn't the make up then it's your self esteem. Looks aren't everything. Whats inside and comes out is what makes the whole package PRETTY.

Picture a house with all it's lights off...it can be a nice house...but with no lights shining from it...you just pass it by and hardly notice. Turn all the lights on and suddenly you are the brightest house on the street. People are like that too. Makeup is just curb appeal. The house and what goes on inside is what matters and what makes one stop and notice. You'll start seeing your house as beautiful once you notice others see it that way too.

If I have on "too much" makeup, I feel really insecure. I guess I just sort of think that the heavily made up look is sort of tacky. I feel so much more comfortable and pretty when I'm wearing very little or none. I usually just put on a little mascara and lip balm and I'm good to go!



If you worry about getting a perfect tan all the time, your face will look like leather when you're 50...

your true beauty is the real you makeup is just that it makes you up it hides you blemishes acne pimples thats a part of growing your body is trying to get rid of the impurities so if someone is to tell you that you look better with makeup on they dont really know the true you

I don't feel "unpretty" without makeup but I do think it enhances my features and never leave the house without it. Good Luck and remember to use a light hand.......

There are certain days that I feel completely hideous whether I'm wearing makeup or not. Most of the time, I feel good about my looks. I know with me the main part of it is the depression I fight from day to day. The days I feel ugly are my low days, when it's hard for me to feel positive in general.

with me it depends on my clothes:
if i'm wearing sportswear or casual simple i feel i don't need makeup or just a little
when i am dressed up or have a skirt or something i feel unpretty if i am WITHOUT makeup

you still fell unpretty when were make-up because you dont think you're pretty. You need to look at your self in the mirror and say i am pretty no matter what anyone sez. Make-up or not everyone is beautiful in there own way. SO believe in yourself.
