Have you tried using rags and leaving them overnight. Have a perm maybe. Get your hairdresser to show you how.

Make sure you get the ends of your hair under the clip bit or else they will be straight and with a kink, then gently turn the curler anti clockwise. Depending on the size of the curl you want - for big loose curls take more hair - for tighter curls take less hair. Start by taking sections from the back (nape) and work your way up the crown, then the sides the finally the top and fringe. Good luck :)

Depends on the kind of curls you want, and how thick or thin your hair is.
Fine hair, doesn't keep curls too well.
Thick hair, can sometimes be too heavy and pull the curls down and drag them out.
I reccommend a process of using a styling wand, a GOOD one, and getting a friend to actually do it.
Use the process of curl, hold for RECCOMMENDED time based on your curling wand, spray with ample, good quality hairspray, and gently unwind.
If you want curls all the time, consider a perm.
Bare in mind, you'll loose at least 4 inches of length if you curl your hair, and you may find it appears alot shorter as a result.
Don't brush it either, it'll frizz like mad.
And I'd highly reccommend AGAINST using a perm-at-home kit. It can kill your hair, and leave disastrous results.
Have fun!

would you consider using a ghd??? once you get the hang of it, it's fantastic!! I have poker straight hair and the ghd is the only thing that will curl it. You need to use the skiniest one. Just get a section of hair and clamp the ghd around it. Then twist the ghd upside down, so you're flipping your hair over the crown of you head, and pull down the length of your hair. I mightn't be describing it properly to you, but if you give it a go it's excellent!!

I use the foam curl rollers from walmart you can buy 100-500 for only $3-$5.If you want loose curls use the fat rollers and if you want tight [shirley timple]style you the small rollers.Good luck!

attempt putting your hair in warm rollers. Spray it plenty with hairspray till now you place the curler on and then once you have all of them on spray returned. enable them to take a seat down for a protracted time for the superb curl.

if your hair is short, make sure you do big ringlets otherwise it'll look like a perm.if the curlers aren't working, get thin strands of hair and twist them into a bun and tie them up.do this until all of you hair is covered in little buns and leave it in for as long as pos.works great!
