Your mouth. When you need to take a breath while singing a song, you generally don't have time between notes to close your mouth and breathe through your nose.

Definately your mouth, the exchange in most cases has to happen very rapidly, the mouth is opened while singing so mouth air exchange is the best, just don't make alot of sound when breathing in air, there's no reason to and it is annoying!

Sorry but the correct answer is:

Breath 'IN' your nose
Breath 'OUT' your mouth
:-)
That's it!
