In the US, slave attired depended on the work the person was doing, the owner's generosity, and what appearance the owner wanted to ake. Slaves who worked in the house would be generally dressed better.

Which slaves? there have been slaves since before Ancient Egypt. I guess they wore hand me downs. Or loincloths.
