I wrote a letter to Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia and former yugoslavia but his secretary never wrote back to me neither himself. Is it because he doesn't want to receive any fan mail?

I disagree with the first answer. Reigning monarchs receive more mail than heirs to defunct monarchies, and when I wrote to the Queen I had an instant reply. I think the real reason is that he may not have sufficient staff to get through his mail as quickly. I also wrote to a Hollywood actor asking for an autograph (not an A-lister) and got a reply six months later. How long have you been waiting?

They receive so much mail that they don't even bother opening most of it.

Well, he probably did not want to get any fanmail, not just from you. Those celebrities are very snobby and hate to be bothered.
