Yeah..some of the questions on here make me want to smack my head against the wall a few thousand times. You can't just go out and buy a pet. You should do months of research before you even decide what pet is right for you.
I won't even get started on the breeding questions people ask here.

Well, a lot of people are not aware of the responsibility of rearing a pet, that's why! I mean, take for example a dog and how I'm suppose to care for it:
Feed it in the morning, afternoon, night,
take it for walk in the evenings,
clean its poop,
bath it once a week,
train it if possible...
Seriously speaking, I've never had any pet my whole life and through watching movies and my neighbours, it seems easy to take care of one! It's only until you bear the responsibility on your shoulder then you truly understand the whole trouble it takes to take care of a pet.

Because in today's society lots of people think they can buy whatever they can, (or can't), afford. What they forget is a pet is a new member of your household & not an item that will be sitting on a shelf. Personally, I feel it's a selfish thing to do.

Because they are not common sense smart! Many people just asume that getting a pet is a cute thing. They do not know all the time love and care that must be put into it. It's called unconcerned.

I'm guessing because they think its a novel thing to do at the time. Kind of like people who want a coyote as a pet, and once they have it they realize its alot of work. So what do they do? They let it loose in the wild, where it can't defend for itself, because it was taken from its mother at a young age. The animal then dies a horrible death thanks to greedy humans. Idiots.

My friend asked me about buying a Jack Russell, then, against my advice purchased on anyway.(He wouldn't have been right for her familiy.) The poor guy ended up outside or in a cage ALL the time. Even when they research they still don't always do the right thing.

You are expecting people to have common sense, self restraint and forethought. Most people do not have all three. Some of our fellow humans have none of the three. And common sense is very uncommon.
