The rules for multiplying and dividing radicals are:

sqrt(a) * sqrt(b) = sqrt(ab)
Example sqrt(3) * sqrt (27) = sqrt(3*27) = sqrt(81) = 9

Sqrt(a)/ Sqrt(b) = Sqrt (a/b)
Example Sqrt(27)/sqrt(3) = sqrt (27/3) = sqrt(9) = 3

Radical are like fractions or you mult. and div. tjhem like fractions for example :
in the prob below

sqrt 2 X sqrt3
( square roots of 2 " times " the square of 3 )

sqrt2 = 1.41 ( rounded to the nearedt 100 )

sqrt3 = 1.73 rounded to the nearedt 100 )

your can nult or div these like they are now or change them to nixed numbers or improper fractions
the easier way id the mult. or div . them as decimal number

mult
1.41 X 1.72 = 2.4252

div
1.41 / 1.72 =0.8197674

div 1.72 / 1.41 = 1.219858

hope this helps
