Perhaps within the context of a discussion in a psychology class, but otherwise, why on earth should that be in an academic curriculum?

no.

first, it will get the "intelligent design" crowd worked up,

second, because it's too easy to misconstrue. It is a more subjective art than science, and many of the most popular practitioners are full of it. I can easily see bad astrologers taking teaching positions, and that could be worse than none at all.

third, in many states, school districts need public votes to pass their budgets. I can already hear the hooting and hollering in any district that would use taxpayer funding to hire an astrology teacher. It would only hurt the school's current academics.

I also felt that lots of suggestion replaced into ineffective. Why did I even could study French fantastically after I did so poorly? Who cares what occurred four hundred years in the past? Why will we study math even as even user-friendly calculators do it? the perfect answer is various causes. a million) sensible human beings study about lots of issues and not in any respect really what they want to study about. college is an section to a thanks to imagine. In life ordinarily, understanding is power. How does the college understand who will like issues as interesting and who gained't? they hit upon a thanks to ascertain what's fairly really somewhat about many topics. really the best human beings have that chance. in case you don't love being sensible, it fairly is an entire diverse variety of question. only utilizing words like "esoteric" and sonnets" and "aforementioned" and curriculum" shows the coaching worked on you. supply them a damage. So sure, i have self assurance that if a school has the money to teach the topics and can provide scholars a probability to study that's an extremely reliable project. that's large in the journey that they could coach musical device taking area in, and appearing and theater, and public speaking, artwork historic previous, and stepped ahead sciences (I took organic and organic chemistry and nuclear technology in severe college and that they had an magnificent movie-making classification i did not take.) Will upload an edit-- I agree also with those which have self assurance there are literally not adequate authentic issues taught like a thanks to stability a checkbook. i'm not stealing different reliable solutions because factors to me are a lot less significant than helping human beings comprehend issues. i will thumbs-up some. I believe not. It doesn't have any science or technique behind it and i don't believe many people of the younger generation even believes in it. It's just something that comes to certain people through intution. i don't believe students would welcome it since most youngsters i happen to kinow find stuff like fortune telling and astronomy complete nonscence. I can't say i don't agree. It's just something that's been in our society for long and needs to be gotten rid of. Well, to each his own!

It might be helpful and make raising kids less problematic, but I just don't think most people are that open-minded about things like astrology, they just think it's superstition or entertainment.
