Being Brazilian and liking football is a stereotype. It isn't a characteristic of Brazilians at all. It would be silly to imagine that. Everyone on this forum likes football--but hey, if we didn't, we wouldn't be here at all.

And of course it's only a handful out of 180 million Brazilians who really sparkle at the sport--ie. Robinho, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Pele... Firstly, this is just to highlight that not all Brazilians are necessarily good at it, or even interested. And secondly, asides them, who in Brazil has worldwide recognition in his field?--this would then create a very polarized view of Brazilians. I'm not being racist. It's just that apart from Gabriel Garcia Marquez--Nobel prize-winning writer--and Giselle Bundchen, I can't think of any other famous Brazilians who aren't footballers.

Anyway, you're Brazilian and you hate football... so nothing. Spend your time doing something more constructive.

so nothing. if you don't like football, then so be it. That's not anyone's problem but yours, which is not even a problem for you anyway. You like what you like, we football fans like what we like. It's all good.
