I have read so many questions about how black girls hate it when a white woman goes out with a black man. And all these stereotypes, about how we have a reputation of being b*tches and mean. Is this really what white people think about us when they look at us?

I'm just tired of all this ignorant crap about who's better. We all look the exact same underneath the skin.

I just basicly want to know, when white people look at us, is the first thing that runs through there head, she's black so she must be a b*tch?

Ok here's another question, if you are not a black guy, would you date a black girl?

Unfortunately...it's a catch 22!! That is how I look at certain things in life. Do I think black women are b!tches??? Yeah...some of them are. I also think without putting the color in there that some women are b!tches too!!! Yes...I am white and yes..I do date black men. I also have several girlfriends that are black and I don't think they are b!tches, but...a lot of black women do not agree with the interracial dating. I do. Like you said...we are all the same underneath our skin...true..we all bleed the same. But...this is how our society is and probably will always be. Every type of race, culture, and gender is stereotyped to some degree. Some people feel strongly about it and feel that they need to justify themselves by putting on yahoo why are all black women b!tches?? Maybe they need answers or something.

Your right the ignorance in this world can sometimes become unbearable. I see it alot in peoples questions on here. The stereotyping slander some of these close-minded pea sized brain people put on here is just so stupid. I think they just want to get people riled up and upset.
Don't take any of it to heart is what I say.
I don't think black girls are mean I have met alot of nice black women as well as other races. Your right its not what the skin color is its whats inside.

*sigh* my heart is heavy after reading some of the answers you recieved. I've heard the same stereo-types for most of my life. Ppl have no idea how hurtful those things can be. I grew up w a lot white ppl, my high school had a student body of 2000 kids but the whole 4yrs i was there there were NO more than 43 black students. Many of my white friends would say hurtful things w/o even realizing it was wrong/racist/hurtful. I've had discussions w other whites ppl (not friends) that have admited to me that sometimes while in class or having a discussion w a black person they are suprised that we actually have intelligent things to say.
Once a white girl told me that she didnt find black girls very pretty, but she felt that i was...a guy i breifly dated (a white guy) would ask "why are black women so angry?" I asked him when did he encounter these women, what were the circumstances...he said he hadnt really known any back women, but thats what he saw on tv. Needless to say he and i didnt workout...NOT cuz he was white (cuz i still date white guys) BUT cuz he was full of stereotypes. Like do all black men have big penis' and why would i date a white guy if they do?

Just ridiculus things would come from his mouth. But i digress. Some ppl do feel that way about us, and its not just white ppl AND some ppl dont. A lot of ppl that feel have negative ideals about black girls generally havent really gotten to know any of us personally. Some of it is media based...

Although its painful, keep ur head up mama!

That's news to me Kiddo. Every Black Woman I've ever known was sweet as pie and I don't know anyone who gives a rat's potato about who's going around with who. Don't let some jerks on the Internet put You off if You can avoid that.

I don't care what color they are. Their are b*tches in every race. I don't discriminate. I will even get with that blue b*itch in the X-men movie. But she was a b*tch. I don't care what color she is. However I worked in a multi-cultural environment, and dealt with mean black women. They are usually the older ones. I've met some really nice ones though. The ones I tried getting with have been b*tches. They automatically think white men are racist or something. So here I am trying to drop bombs on them and they don't give me the time of day. I think their are stereotypical peeps in every race, you just have to weed them out and stick with the cool peoples. But hey if your not busy later, I'll show you I don't discriminate.

I don't know about that. People love to form stereotypes, SOME white people probably do think that. You can't worry about what other people think though, you really can't. Just be yourself and the people worth being around won't form those knee-jerk opinions.

Hello I am white and have no bad feelings against anyone unless they have hurt someone or done an act of tyranny. I work in a mixed office and go out to lunchg with 2 other white girls and 4 black girls. We get on fine and as a matter of fact one of the white girls is dating the older brother of one of the black girls and to the best of my knowledge nothing mean has been said

Have you seen any movies recently? They don't exactly portray black women in the most flattering light. They portray them as loud, obnoxious, and mean. Watch Save the Last Dance. Those girls are P.O ed. What's worse, is these actresses are perpetuating the problem. 'm not saying that there aren't black women out there that are like that, but you have b***** white girls out there, too. Hollywood just doesn't show that side very often and if they do, it's in a funny way. People say you can't blame the movies, tv, or the media, but the fact of the matter is, if that's where some idiots are getting all of there into exclusively then you certainly can blame the media, etc for irresponsibility. Oh...and you can blame the morons who believe everything they see and read, too! Hope that gives at least a little insight. Sorry people are so freakin' rude.

I certainly don't think this way. Perhaps some white women who date black men are insecure and say things like this as a cheap way of making themselves feel better.
