It's difficult to give ideas without much information on what behavior you want to change.

Pygmalion effect, also referred to as self-fulfilling prophecy or teacher-expectancy effect or Rosenthal effect, has the following four principles (which you could use to develop ideas).
- We form certain expectation of people or events
- We communicate these expectations via cues
- People tend to adjust their behavior to match the cues they recieve from us
- Resulting in the original expectation

This creates a circle of self-fulfilling prophecy.

Beware!! This is a powerful influence and should not be used to hurt anybody.

The Pygmalion effect, Rosenthal effect, or more commonly known as the "teacher-expectancy effect" refers to situations in which students perform better than other students simply because they are expected to do so. Or are you speaking of literature....Tough question....I'm not going to lie!! :)
