He would also be the first american james bond and the first James Bond without a shred of acting (or musical) talent. He would also be thefirst James Bond actor to have a really stupid name. I thought puff meant homosexual. I also thought he was homophobic. Maybe his son's gay and he's not happy about it so he's making a martyr of himself to change his son's sexuality through making him feel guilty. Or maybe not. Either way I think you're probably right. He may well be a big idiot.

I feel your suspicion is justified, however the nickname originates from when he was younger. Apparently he used to puff his chest out - perhaps to look tough - and he had a way with the laydees, which is where the "Daddy" part came from. Hence Puff Daddy. He changed it to P Diddy cos it sounds less aggressive and he wanted to appeal more to kids with his music. Unfortunately for him he didn't realise that where I come from "Diddy" is a word for a complete idiot. So you see we come full circle...

I'm sure he is. However he's also American (some might say it's the same thing!) But he doesn't speak German so he won't know what that means in German or Dutch. I speak a little german and I didn't know that.

I think so, how many nicknames do you have to give yourself, no one liked the first ones, who's gonna like the next ones. I think he is stupid, his "music" sucks. Oh and I think he dropped the P so he is now Diddy. I had a conversation about this the other day. You can't spell crap without rap!

Sean Combs actually got the nickname "Puffy" in High School. He played football for the all-boy Catholic HS in the Bronx - Mount St. Michael. The football uniform made him look 'puffy'....hence the name.

Actually, he's just called "Diddy" now (he used to be "P. Diddy", but he dropped the "P".)
